chicago 2016 olympics w/ actor joey slotnick

Joey Slotnick has been one of my best friends for over a decade and to this day still makes me die laughing everytime I’m with him as you can see in this video!  You have seen him in “nip/tuck” “single guy” and all kinds of other shows and movies, but I love him best on stage and can’t wait to see his new play “animal crackers” about the marx brothers at the Goodman theatre that he talks about in the video! (hear everyone is already raving about it!)
 
I’m actually bummed because I’m going to miss the big opening night festivities since I am in Moscow on my way to copenahagen for the big olympic announcement on oct 2nd (hope you are following me on twitter for the 411 out here!)… but don’t worry, I’m not letting my two awesome tix go to waste!  I am treating one of you, my supportive readers and friends, right now with my two tix to the grand opening night!!!!  Just comment below on why you want to see joey, and besides his video obviously, what is your second favorite olympic celebrity video and why!  We will review all comments in 48hrs and pick the winner of my tix… good luck and thank you!

    I want to go see “Animal Crackers” because I saw a WTTW special on comedy and they covered the Marx Bros (my parents are old enough to remember watching them as kids) so I rent their movies at the public library whenever I get a chance! Low and behold, those guys are hilarious! Horse Feathers FTW!! — I also love the Goodman, it’s a great venue. I’ve seen some of my favorite plays (Crowns) there. — And I like Joey because I love Looking glass, anybody affiliated with Looking glass has MADD skills.

    Also, my second fav vid is you with Nadine Valezquez. One is she’s a lot more pretty than your friend Joey (lol). Reason two is because she was totally repping her heritage. That’s something only Chicagoans can truly do. Lastly, I loved how you guys pointed out how Chicago is a TRUE melting pot. I always say that and you guys totally made it loud and clear.

    WOOP!! Thanks for working so hard for Chicago Mr. Dec, that’s awesome . . . NOW GIVE ME THOSE TICKETS!

    haha — pardon my grammar. I’m really really excited.

    I LOVE Joey Slotnick! I’m not surprised that a great talent like him is from Chicago! I’m a HUGE fan of the Marx Brothers and a good patron of the arts here. I think it would be tremendous to see him on stage at the Goodman. (He gets a standing ovation from me—promised!)

    The other Olympic interview of yours that I really like is Joel McHale!

    He’s a riot and he really played off your questions well.
    I just love his dry sense of humor. Oh, and DUH—your blue cap matches the background of your web site here perfectly!
